Summary
This study is testing how well the eye injection faricimab works and how safe it is for people with diabetic macular edema (DME), a swelling in the back of the eye that can cause vision loss. It focuses on enrolling adults from racial and ethnic groups that are often underrepresented in medical research, including Black, Hispanic, Native American, and Asian Indian participants. The main goal is to see if the treatment improves vision and reduces fluid in the eye over 56 weeks, while closely monitoring for any side effects.
