First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026

Summary

This study tests a special PET/CT scan that targets cells around tumors to find early signs of cancer spread to lymph nodes in people with head and neck cancer. About 20 adults scheduled for surgery will get this scan before their operation. The goal is to see if this scan can detect risky lymph nodes better than current methods, which could help doctors plan more personalized treatments.
