New scan aims to see hidden scar tissue in the body
NCT ID NCT06413355
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET/CT scan to see if it can better detect and measure scar tissue, known as fibrosis, in the body. It will enroll 45 adults with conditions that cause fibrosis, such as certain cancers, lung disease after tuberculosis, or heart inflammation. The goal is to learn if this scan can provide useful pictures of fibrosis, but it will not be used to decide treatment.
