Loved Ones' recordings tested as natural pain relief for ICU patients
NCT ID NCT07404813
Summary
This study is testing if listening to recordings of family members' voices can help patients in intensive care. Researchers want to see if this simple, non-drug approach can reduce patients' pain and increase levels of natural 'feel-good' chemicals in their blood. The goal is to see if this method could improve comfort and potentially reduce the need for some pain medications.
