New Family-Focused therapy aims to break cycle of teen addiction and mental health crisis
NCT ID NCT06413979
Summary
This study is testing a new family-based add-on therapy for teens who are already in treatment for substance use and also struggle with anxiety or depression. The program, called Fam-AID, teaches families skills to support their teen's mental health and aims to make standard treatment more effective. Researchers will enroll 60 teens to see if adding this family program improves symptoms and keeps families involved in care.
