Can family peers bridge the gap in mental health support?

Summary
This study tests whether having trained family peers help guide other families improves their engagement in mental health services for young people experiencing early psychosis. It will involve 900 family members and their loved ones across nine clinics in four states. The goal is to see if this culturally responsive support strategy reduces family stress and helps people stay connected to care.
