First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having family members take part in daily ICU rounds helps them feel more involved in their loved one's care. About 194 family members of ICU patients at 6 Canadian hospitals will be asked to join rounds either in person or by video. Researchers will measure engagement, satisfaction, and anxiety to see if this practice improves the hospital experience.
