Meal timing study for cancer prevention in pacific islanders ends early

NCT ID NCT07262593

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if changing meal times (like time-restricted eating) could lower cancer risk in Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander women. Only 2 women joined before the study was stopped, so we cannot draw any conclusions. The goal was to find a culturally fitting way to reduce cancer risk factors like obesity and diabetes.
