Summary

This study tests a 12-month family-based program called ANZANSI for 960 adolescent girls (ages 11–14) in northern Ghana who are at risk of dropping out of school and migrating alone to cities for work. The program combines family economic empowerment and caregiver training to reduce unaccompanied migration and child labor. Researchers will compare outcomes with a group receiving usual services over three years.
