Summary
This study tests a family-based program called ANZANSI to prevent adolescent girls in Ghana from migrating alone to cities for hazardous work. The program involves family education and support groups, and will be tested with 960 girls aged 11-14 and their caregivers across 32 schools. Researchers will track whether the program reduces unaccompanied migration and improves school attendance and well-being over three years.
