Can a simple scan predict your heart attack risk?
NCT ID NCT07352111
Summary
This study aims to understand how common high-risk heart plaque is in people with a family history of heart attacks, even if they have no symptoms. Researchers will use special heart CT scans and blood tests on 200 participants to see if these scans provide better risk information than standard doctor evaluations. The goal is to learn if this approach helps identify who might benefit from more aggressive preventive treatments.
