Can a simple scan predict your heart attack risk if heart disease runs in your family?
NCT ID NCT07352111
Summary
This study aims to understand how common dangerous plaque buildup is in the heart arteries of people who have a family history of heart attacks but no symptoms themselves. Researchers will use special heart CT scans and blood tests on 200 participants to see if these scans provide better risk information than standard check-ups. The goal is to learn if scanning can help identify who needs more aggressive preventive care.
