First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is for children and young adults who have a stubborn adenovirus or cytomegalovirus infection after a stem cell transplant. It tests whether adding specially trained immune cells from a family donor to standard care can clear the virus better than standard care alone. About 69 participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups and monitored weekly with blood tests.
