Summary
This study tested whether family-centered care practices in a children's intensive care unit (PICU) could lower parents' anxiety and boost their satisfaction. Researchers measured anxiety and satisfaction in 80 mothers of children admitted to the PICU. The goal was to see if involving families more in care improves their emotional experience.
