Summary
This study tested whether training family members to help care for hospitalized patients could reduce stress for those caregivers and lighten the workload for hospital staff. Over 1,000 patients, family caregivers, and health workers in three hospital wards participated. The training taught families basic care tasks, how to spot warning signs, and how to prepare for going home, aiming to improve teamwork and outcomes.
