Parents as partners: can family care help tiny babies go home sooner?
NCT ID NCT07364903
Summary
This study is testing whether training and involving parents directly in the daily care of their premature or low-birth-weight babies in the hospital can lead to better results. It will involve over 1,000 families in Ethiopia, comparing babies whose parents receive special training to those receiving standard care. The main goal is to see if this family-integrated care helps babies get stronger faster, reduces their hospital stay, and improves survival.
