This study tested a device that measures how well older people can balance while standing still. The goal was to see if the device's balance score could predict who might fall in the future. The study included 169 older adults who were able to walk and had no major memory problems. The researchers used the device to create a score from 0 to 100, with lower scores suggesting a higher risk of falling.
