New balance test could spot fall risk before It's too late

NCT ID NCT06535477

Summary

This study is testing a new device that measures a person's balance and walking patterns to see if it can predict who is at risk of falling. It involves 169 older adults attending a geriatric clinic who will have their balance tested on a special platform and then be followed for one year to see if they experience any falls. The goal is to create a better tool to identify people who need help preventing falls before they happen.
