First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether making small changes at home, like adding non-slip mats and improving lighting, can help prevent falls in older adults. About 320 people aged 60 to 80 who have fallen before or are worried about falling will take part. The study will track falls over 12 months to see if these changes work and are worth the cost.
