New walking program aims to keep seniors on their feet
NCT ID NCT07341802
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a new group exercise program called 'Safe & Joyful Walk' is practical and acceptable for older adults in urban China. The research will see if the program helps people stick with regular exercise and shows early signs of improving balance and reducing falls. Researchers will compare the walking program to traditional Tai Chi exercises over 12 weeks of classes followed by 6 months of home practice.
