First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a year-long exercise program could help healthy women over 65 improve their balance and physical function to prevent falls. Thirty-two women did exercises like walking, strength training, and balance drills. Tests showed they got better at standing on one leg and overall movement, which may help them stay independent and avoid falls.
