First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at two methods of delivering the Otago Exercise Program, a strength and balance program designed to reduce falls in older adults. One method uses a physiotherapist with a coaching approach and a Fitbit for feedback, while the other uses traditional delivery. Researchers will track how well the program is followed, the number of falls, and whether the coaching method is cost-effective over 24 months.
