Simple Fall-Prevention classes help seniors avoid dangerous falls

NCT ID NCT07499895

First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether a structured fall-prevention education program helps older adults adopt safer behaviors to reduce fall risk. Sixty-six older adults at high risk of falls took part; some attended two interactive classes on fall risks and home safety, while others received only a brochure. The goal was to see if the classes improved fall-related behaviors more than the brochure alone.
