See your new face before surgery: trial tests 3D prediction tool

NCT ID NCT06822127

Summary

This study is testing a new computer tool that creates a 3D model of a patient's face. The goal is to see if the model can accurately predict how a person's face will look after corrective jaw surgery. Researchers will compare the model's prediction to the patient's actual appearance six months after their operation. This could help future patients better understand the potential aesthetic results before deciding on surgery.
