First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a cosmetic procedure called microneedling radiofrequency (RF) can improve skin texture and facial fat thickness, and if adding a topical treatment (PLLA) makes a difference. Thirty adults seeking facial rejuvenation will receive RF on both sides of their face, with PLLA added to one side. Researchers will measure fat thickness with ultrasound and ask participants about their satisfaction.
