First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to reduce signs of facial aging in women aged 30 to 65 with mild to moderate wrinkles. One group received three sessions of fractional microneedling radiofrequency (a procedure using tiny needles and heat), while the other did facial muscle exercises for 8 weeks. Researchers measured improvement in appearance and satisfaction at 90 days to see which approach worked better.
