Summary
This study aimed to better understand and measure how facial muscles move to create expressions. Researchers used MRI scans and motion-capture technology on 50 healthy volunteers to create detailed 3D models of facial movements. The goal was to gather precise data to help doctors plan surgeries and monitor recovery for conditions affecting facial muscles, like facial palsy.
