Summary

This study looked at whether showing the source of a news post and adding a warning message helps people think more critically about what they see on Facebook. Researchers showed 307 Dutch adults different news items with or without source information and warnings, then asked them to rate how accurate and trustworthy each item was. The goal was to find better ways to fight misinformation online.
