Could your face shape make surgery riskier? new test aims to predict airway trouble
NCT ID NCT07366177
Summary
This study aims to see if simple face measurements can help doctors predict which patients might have a difficult time having a breathing tube placed during surgery. Researchers will measure the faces of 1,000 adults before their operations to see if certain face shapes are linked to this challenge. The goal is to give doctors a new, simple tool to spot potential risks ahead of time and improve patient safety.
