New study tests better face masks for Kids' jaw problems

Summary
This study looked at 40 children aged 7 to 13 with underbite caused by a small upper jaw. All children first had a special procedure to loosen the jaw joints, then wore a face mask to pull the upper jaw forward. Some masks were attached to the teeth, while others were attached to small bone screws. The goal was to see which method works better and causes fewer dental side effects.
