First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether using lubricant eye drops along with eyelid taping is better than taping alone for preventing eye damage during general anesthesia. Two hundred adults having non-eye surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The goal is to see if skipping the drops can save money without harming patient safety.
