Could simply closing your eyes improve cataract surgery results?

NCT ID NCT07297849

Summary

This study is testing whether closing your eyes for three minutes can improve the accuracy of eye curvature measurements. It involves 29 adults who are scheduled for cataract surgery and have received a 'warning' about the quality of their initial eye measurements. Researchers will compare measurements taken normally with those taken after a brief period of eyelid closure to see if it helps.
