Could your eyes reveal a hidden wrist problem?
NCT ID NCT06946030
Summary
This study aimed to understand if there is a link between two seemingly different conditions: an eye disorder called pseudoexfoliation syndrome and carpal tunnel syndrome in the wrist. Researchers examined 118 adults diagnosed with the eye condition to see how many also had carpal tunnel and to check for common biological markers. The goal was to gather foundational knowledge to help future research into a possible shared cause.
