New eye drop combo tested for stubborn watery eyes
NCT ID NCT07372014
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a specific anti-inflammatory eye drop (nepafenac) to a standard lubricating eye drop works better than the lubricant alone for treating watery eyes caused by a narrowed tear duct opening. It involves 68 adults in Mexico who will use the assigned eye drops for eight weeks. Doctors will check if the tear duct opening gets wider and if the watery eyes improve.
