Eye surgeons test new step to sharpen vision after retinal surgery
NCT ID NCT07438210
Summary
This study tested if adding a specific step (called ILM-peeling) during standard surgery to reattach the retina would lead to better vision and prevent scar tissue from forming afterwards. It involved 21 adults with retinal detachment. The trial was terminated early, so the results are limited.
