Laser after eye surgery: does it boost vision?
NCT ID NCT07165626
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study looks at how the eye heals after surgery to remove a thin layer of scar tissue (epiretinal membrane) from the retina. Researchers want to see if adding a special laser treatment one month after surgery helps improve vision and eye structure more than surgery alone. About 100 people with this eye condition will take part, and their vision will be checked before surgery and at 1 and 4 months after.
