Can a simple score tell you how well You'll see after eye surgery?
NCT ID NCT03329976
Summary
This study aimed to test a new scoring system that predicts how well a patient's vision will recover one year after a combined eye surgery. The surgery removes both a cataract and a thin scar tissue (epiretinal membrane) from the retina. Researchers tested the score on patients to see if it could reliably help doctors decide the best time for surgery and set realistic expectations for recovery.
