Doctors try Patient's own tissue to seal stubborn eye holes

NCT ID NCT07318961

Summary

This study is testing whether using a small piece of the patient's own eye tissue can help close stubborn macular holes that haven't healed with previous surgeries. The procedure involves placing this tissue into the hole during eye surgery to help the retina heal. Researchers will follow 20 patients for 3 months to see if the holes close and if vision improves.
