NCT ID NCT05926258

Summary

This study compared two different medicines used to numb the surface of the eye before an exam in children and teenagers. 74 participants, from newborns up to age 17, were randomly given either a gel or an eye drop form of anesthetic. Researchers checked which one worked better to prevent pain and discomfort during the eye procedure.
