New eye wipe tested to soothe irritated eyelids

NCT ID NCT07431385

Summary

This study is testing a sterile gauze pad called IRIDIUM GARZE to see if it helps reduce eye discomfort in people with blepharitis or blepharoconjunctivitis (eyelid inflammation). About 80 adults in Italy will use the gauze four times a day for 28 days, in addition to their standard treatment. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms like itching, burning, and overall discomfort.
