Tiny needle shift could sharpen Kids' vision after eye surgery

NCT ID NCT07446829

Summary

This study aims to find the best needle placement for a specific eye surgery technique used in children with a congenital condition where the eye's lens is displaced. Researchers will compare two different needle insertion points (2mm vs. 2.5mm behind the edge of the cornea) to see which leads to better vision, more predictable results, and fewer complications. The goal is to make this sutureless surgery more precise and safer for young patients.
