Doctors test two ways to secure a new eye lens in kids

NCT ID NCT07252349

Summary

This study aims to find the best surgical technique for implanting an artificial lens in children born with a dislocated natural lens. Researchers will compare two different needle insertion points during a 'sutureless' surgery to see which one leads to better vision and fewer complications. The study will enroll 54 children and teens aged 4 to 18 and follow them for three months after surgery.
