Two-Drug eye treatment could cut injection visits in half

NCT ID NCT01295112

Summary

This study tested whether adding Ozurdex to standard Avastin eye injections could help patients with retinal vein blockage need fewer injections over time. Researchers enrolled 68 adults with this specific eye condition to compare treatment approaches. The main goal was to see if the combination treatment reduced how often patients needed repeat Avastin injections over six months.
