Direct shot to the eye: new hope for fighting stubborn infections

NCT ID NCT07394257

Summary

This study is testing if injecting an antibiotic directly into the infected part of the eye helps heal stubborn bacterial infections faster than standard antibiotic eye drops alone. It will involve 60 adults whose eye infections have not improved after several days of regular treatment. Researchers will compare recovery time and safety between the injection-plus-drops group and the drops-only group.
