Can a One-Day class help more people get eye care?

NCT ID NCT07443683

Summary

This study aims to find out if giving a one-day eye health training to female community health volunteers leads to more people visiting local vision centers for care. Researchers will train 58 volunteers in one area and compare the number of patient visits to a vision center in another area where volunteers are not trained. The goal is to see if this simple training helps connect more community members, especially in rural Nepal, to the eye care services they need.
