Nepal study: can training female health volunteers boost eye care visits?
NCT ID NCT07443683
First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving a one-day eye health orientation to female community health volunteers in Nepal can increase the number of patients coming to local vision centers. About 58 volunteers in one area will receive training and referral slips, while a similar group in another area will not. Researchers will compare patient visits between the two vision centers to see if the training makes a difference.
