Eye drop combo aims to replace reading glasses

NCT ID NCT04675151

Summary

This study tested whether a combination of two eye drops (Nyxol and pilocarpine) could improve near vision for reading in adults aged 40-64 with presbyopia. It involved 150 participants and measured how many letters they could read on a near-vision chart after using the drops. The goal was to see if this treatment could temporarily reduce the need for reading glasses.
