Could common eye drops be a new fix for reading glasses?
NCT ID NCT07151612
Summary
This study tested whether a specific type of eye drop could improve near vision for people with presbyopia, the age-related condition that makes reading and close-up work blurry. Researchers enrolled 62 adults aged 40-55 to see if drops containing Ginkgo biloba and digitalis glycosides could help the eye's focusing muscle work better. The goal was to see if these drops, already used for other eye conditions, could offer a new drug-based treatment option for this common problem.
