New eye drop trial offers hope for painful dry eye condition
NCT ID NCT06852768
Summary
This study is testing whether a new eye drop called d-MAPPS™ can safely reduce the severe dry eye symptoms caused by chronic ocular graft-versus-host disease (oGVHD). Adult patients with this condition will use the eye drops or a placebo for about 90 days to see if their eye discomfort, redness, and irritation improve. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and helps control this painful, long-term eye problem that can occur after a bone marrow or stem cell transplant.
