New eye drops aim to clear cloudy vision from scars
NCT ID NCT07449000
Summary
This study is testing if a medication called losartan, given as an eye drop, can help reduce scarring on the clear front part of the eye (the cornea) and improve vision. Adult volunteers with stable corneal scars will use either the losartan drops or a placebo (inactive) drop six times a day for six months. Researchers will measure changes in vision, the cloudiness of the scar, and the safety of the treatment.
